The Photographer's Game

In concept development. A fast action game that is built on the mechanics of photography, can be educational too.
Critique and ask questions.

Is this similar to Fatal Frame?

Never heard of that game but no, hopefully not supposed to be exactly like that. I'll look into that game and compare that with what's in my head.

Okay, so after a brief research of Fatal Frame.

Fatal Frame, besides the mystery, involves antagonists who are spiritual and which in itself must be dealt by spiritual means - the camera designed for defeating them. The films are also spiritual elements.

In my game, there is no dualism. The creatures/monsters are physical; they are defeated by non-spiritual means - everyday imaging sensors. My game also binds to the rules of photography mechanics i.e. exposure, technical limitations.

My review of Fatal Frame is superficial, I'll look more into it.

I meant that if you are using the camera the same was as in using it to deal damage.

Yes, camera sensors will deal damage. The extent of the damage depends on sharpness, resolution, and correct exposure.
