Hey guys, this would be my first post. I'd like to see what everyone wanted to do this summer
for our meets. Please leave comments and suggestions.
Things I have in mind are
- Dallas World Aquarium (Fee)
- Dallas Zoo (Fee)
- Fort Worth Botanical Garden (Fee)
- Dallas Arboretum (Fee)
- Downtown Dallas/Plano (Free)
- Arbor Hills Nature Preserve (Free)
- A-Kon June 4-6 (Most areas are Free)
As of right now there are a few people who would like to go to A-kon this year to take photos. Most of the convention area is free to look around so you don't have to worry about buying a ticket.
I want to set up a day where everyone is free to meet up for the convention. I am thinking Friday or Saturday.

I'm interested in the A-kon one. If I do decide to bring lighting for that meet, it will be a very small kit.

Yea the less stuff the better. That place is huge and crowded. Friday seems to be the best time for everyone. What time do you want to meet up? Driving or Dart?
Parking is about $15 for the whole day. As for food places there are fast food places around there.
I think I will drive to A-kon.
